New karate comic strip, the second for this week.
A quick note to those unfamiliar with martial arts : you may have noted the apperance in recent strips of a framed portrait. In case you're wondering, it is frequent in martial disciplines to hang a portrait of the founder above the training area (some dojos in Japan go all the way to having a small altar). At the beginning and end of each training session, attendees salute while facing the portrait. In shotokan karate, the man portrayed is Gichin Funakoshi.
In the case of my strips, I'm using him as a comic device. Shame on me.

Nouvelle BD de karaté, la deuxième de la semaine.
Un mot si vous n'êtes pas familiers avec les arts martiaux : vous aurez peut-être remarqué dans les dernières planche l'apparition d'un portrait encadré. Si vous vous posez la question, il est fréquent dans les disciplines martiales d'accrocher un portrait du fondateur au-dessus du terrain d'entraînement (certains dojos au Japon vont jusqu'à y placer un petit autel). Au début et à la fin de chaque entraînement, les pratiquants saluent face au portrait. Dans le karaté Shotokan, l'homme représenté est Gichin Funakoshi.
Dans ces planches, je l'utilise comme artifice comique. Honte à moi.
